Wrap Me In Rainbow Shawl
Almost a year ago, I designed the Wrap Me in Rainbow Shawl for Simply Crochet Magazine. One day, I got an e-mail from the editor, with a photo attached, asking me to make something similar in crochet (a knitted shawl I got as inspiration). Sprinkles Sweater. Crochet Pattern
The Sprinkles Sweater and Skirt wasn’t a project that I had in mind when first ordered this yarn. But as usual, I am constantly changing my mind when it comes to my designs. I have so many ideas and so little time for them. When started to work on this sweater is was like a challenge, because I used Medium Weight yarn, but with a stitch pattern (central single crochet) that creates a thick fabric, especially if is worked with thicker yarn. I called the Sprinkles Skirt the “Sister” of the Sprinkles Sweater. At first, I was thinking to make the sweater longer, like a Sweater Dress, but I loved so much the fit of the sweater that I wanted to wear it more. Since I don’t wear skirts or dresses that often I said that it will be a good idea to have a Sweater Dress look but from two pieces.
