So many times I wished to skip the foundation chain step on my projects. I hate doing that and I’m so glad and happy with this trick: foundation single crochet (or other stitch foundation depending what stitch you need for your project).

So today will gone learn to make the foundation single crochet, but it will be other posts with the other stitches foundation.

Is so easy and you will love this trick.

So, let’s begin

Step 1

Chain 2

Step 2

Insert the hook in the first stitch you’ve made, yarn over and pull the yarn trough this stitch. 2 loops on hook.

Step 3

Yarn over and pull the yarn trough the first loop.

Step 4

Yarn over and pull the yarn trough both loops on your hook. First foundation sc is done.

Now let’s see how we go further.

Step 5

Insert the hook trough the “v” stitch at the bottom of the previous stitch you have made, yarn over and pull the yarn trough both loops of that “v”.

Step 6

Yarn over and pull the yarn trough the first loop.

Step 7

Yarn over and pull the yarn trough both loops on your hook.

The second foundation single crochet is done. To continue just repeat the steps that you’ve made for the second stitch.
