Returns & Refunds Policy

Digital products

ByKaterina sells downloadable digital crochet and knitting patterns. The products available in this shop are digital PDF files unless the product description clearly states otherwise.

No physical product will be shipped.

After payment has been completed, the download is made available through the order confirmation page and/or the email address provided with the order.

Cancellation and right of withdrawal

Customers purchasing digital content may normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under applicable consumer law.

However, this right may end once the download or delivery of the digital content begins, provided that the customer has expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged that this means losing the right of withdrawal.

If you have not yet downloaded or accessed your purchased file and would like to cancel your order, please contact me as soon as possible at contact@by-katerina.com.

Nothing in this policy limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Refunds

Because digital files cannot be physically returned, refunds are not normally available after the pattern has been downloaded or accessed.

A refund, replacement file or other appropriate solution may be offered in the following situations:

  • You purchased the same pattern more than once by mistake.
  • You received a different file from the pattern you ordered.
  • The file is incomplete, corrupted or cannot be opened.
  • You cannot access the download after contacting me for assistance.
  • The digital product is materially different from its description.
  • A refund is otherwise required under applicable consumer law.

Refunds are not normally offered because of:

  • A change of mind after downloading the pattern.
  • Purchasing the wrong pattern after the file has already been downloaded.
  • Mistaking a digital pattern for a finished physical garment when the product was clearly described as a digital PDF pattern.
  • Difficulty completing the project, differences in crochet or knitting skill level, gauge, yarn choice or personal fit preferences.

If you purchased the wrong pattern but have not downloaded it, please contact me promptly and I will review the request.

Pattern support and download problems

If you experience a problem with your order or file, please email contact@by-katerina.com and include:

  • Your name
  • Your order number
  • The email address used for the purchase
  • The name of the pattern
  • A short description of the problem

I will first try to resolve the issue by providing download assistance, a corrected file or a replacement copy where appropriate.

Approved refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to be processed. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time before the amount appears in your account.
